Twister of Fate - 6: Honesty to the Breeze

Mousse looked at Ranma and frowned. He was trying to break hold of the anger from his mind but Ranma was denying him entry. Here in the silence of the trees, Akane began to stir. She looked at the man holding her. Aries staring in a direction she couldn’t see. She could hear Ranma’s voice. “I’ll kill you for betraying me.” Was he talking to her, did he think she betrayed him?

She could see Mousse staring at her. “Stop it Ranma you’re scaring Akane!” Mousse yelled at him trying to reach him. Ranma just growled low in his throat trying to keep himself from attacking at the moment.

Sitting beside the big tree Akane looked at Ranma, her eyes hazing over as she looked at him. “I know it’s approaching but...I tried to stop it but it’s too late. I’ll try harder to protect you now. I wont let it happen again.” Ranma kissed her gently on the cheek. “I promise.”

Aries put Akane down and looked at Mousse. “Why can’t you control him Mousse.” He thought as Ranma moved towards Akane. “He’s to angry to hard to get a hold of.” Ranma held out his hand for Akane.

“Akane come here.” Akane made her way to him.

Shampoo looked at her grandmother in wonder. His aura was easy to pin point, something had happened to Akane. That was the only explanation as to why his aura was so strong. Grabbing the spear she headed up the cliff. She knew where they were, this was too easy.

Akane took Ranmas hand as he pulled her to him. Smiling at her he pulled her to him. “You’re safe now Akane. I promise you.” Akane didn’t say anything just held on to him. “Ranma.”

Akane looked up at him her eyes blinding. She couldn’t believe what was going on it was the same thing. She could feel it as rain began to fall.

Rain began to fall Akane looked up. She was in females Ranmas arms. Mousse had turned in to a duck and was flapping his wings. Akane turned there was Shampoo holding a spear. The rain made it impossible for him to do anything Mousse looked at Aries. He was staring at Shampoo grinning he ran and grabbed Akane the moment Shampoo threw the spear.

Ranma was in shock he turned the spear ramming into his female body. Pain hit him as he fell forward. Akane was screaming his name trying to escape Aries grip. “”RANMA!”

Akane looked at Ranma as he relaxed slightly; smiling at her he kissed her wrist. “ Its almost over my love you shall see. “

Aries gripped her tightly to him staring as Ranma got back up, “Akane.” Akane was still struggling. Mousse frowned and looked at her, Shampoo had jumped down to the bottom walking casually to them.

“Ranma, no move I give cure now you man and can be true husband.”

Ranma looked at her blood exiting the wound. Akane continued to scream out to Ranma trying hard to go to him. Aries just continued to hold her to him. Tears fell down her cheeks as Ranma stumbled to the floor again. “Akane.”

Shampoo eyes darkened, she glared at Ranma looking at Akane she made her way over to him. Grabbing hold of her ponytail, Shampoo pointed to Akane. “Why you call violent girl name, Shampoo stand here!” Akane looked at Ranma as more blood dripped from his wound on to the floor. They where surrounded by hills in this one clear area. She found herself Staring at Ranma time stood still as Aries threw her to the side. Chains hit where she once was. Shampoo frowned, and looked at Aries. “Why you help violent girl you no see she keeping me from husband!” Aries looked at her. “From what I see its Ranma’s feelings keeping him away!” Mousse looked away from the scene to race to Akane. “When you learn how to play with chains Shampoo?” Ranma asked pulling the spear from his chest. “You think Shampoo no learn every weapon! I LEARN SO I KILL VIOLENT GIRL LIKE THIS!”

Ukyo froze she knew that scream it was Shampoo’s scream. She grabbed Ryogas hand and raced over to where the screams where.

Ranma laid on top of Akane more blood as she saw the cuts in a pattern on his back. Akane looked at Ranma and smiled. “I love you Akane and I promised to protect you.” Akane watched as his female self began to wash off of him like water. He lay a male on top of her holding her the wound transformed in to scars. “Get off violent girl Ranma!” Akane looked at her and then at Ranma he wasn’t changing and neither had Shampoo. “It’s the sad truth of the curse, death and life all must balance the curse returns to the spring to wait.” Aries said looking at Shampoo.

Ukyo watched Shampoo pull on the chains and start the attack again. Mousse used his own chains to try and counter it. “You betray me too Mousse!”

Akane looked at the wounds on his back and then at Aries. “Impossible.”

Aries looked at Akane and then to Ranma. “What the hell?” Akane smiled and hugged him tightly to her. “You’re alive. Oh god Ranma your alive.” Tears fell down her cheeks. Ranma just stared at her and smiled. Shampoo stared at the lovers just as Ukyo stopped and yelled.

“No Ran-chan why are you with her don’t you want me!” Ranma looked at her and pushed Akane behind him. “No Ranma want Shampoo!”

Ukyo pulled out her spatula and glared as Shampoo gripped the chains tighter to her. Then Shampoo grinned. “Why we no take out violent girl then he chose between us.” Ukyo smiled and nodded. “You come up with really good ideas sometimes.”

Ranma grabbed Akane and bolted Aries behind him. Ryoga on the other hand threw his umbrella at Ranma.

Akane looked at the room around her as Ranma smiled at her. Running her fingers thru her hair and whispering words of love. Akane looked at the mirror watching her death come closer to her. Tears slipped down her to hit the floor causing Ranma to look at her. “Hush Akane.”

Mousse stood his ground against Ukyo and Shampoo but the rain hadn’t let up it was coming down harder the dirt turning into mud causing the earth to slide under his webbed feet. Ukyo hit him against the face with the spatula while Shampoo got her chains around him and his neck. Tears began to slip down his feathers. “I still love you Shampoo.” He thought as she squeezed the chains choking him.

Ryoga watched as Ranma went face down to avoid the umbrella while Aries had grabbed Akane and carried her to the treetops. Ryoga smiled as Ranma looked up to face him, “What the hell are you doing.!?”

“Once you’re out of the way nothing stands in my way to have Akane.”

“Her emotions do, she’ll never love you.” Aries hissed dropping to the ground breaking the umbrella. Handing Akane to Ranma he smiled. “Take her and get the hell away from here. I’ll handle the others.”

Mousses cursed form died leaving him lying there on the mud as Ukyo and Shampoo raced to kill Akane. Mouse sat up rubbing his neck and winced that hurt. He looked up to the rain and frowned. “I have to help Ranma but I still want to ....I still love her its not her fault.”

Thunder struck and a young man appeared with his body covered. He looked at Mousse and smiled. “Don’t worry its not you who I have to kill.”

Ranma ran with Akane holding her hand the mud slipped under their feet, the rain clouding their vision. “Come on Akane just a little bit more and well be out of here.” He said over the rain and thunder. Akane nodded and held on tighter.

Ryoga yelled as Aries sent him in to a tree. Bringing his fist back into his fighting stance he frowned. Ukyo looked at Aries and yelled. “Where’s Ran-can!” Shampoo pulled on her chains. “ Where Shampoo’s husband!”

“Far away from here.” The male figure smiled and removed his cover. Smiling he pulled out a sword. “You can’t change the past.”

Aries glared at him through narrow eyes. “Watch me.”

Ranma turned and stopped looking at Akane he took away her book. “The gate keeper, no impossible” Akane whispered something that only he could here. “No I wont allow it. I wont be stopped when we’re so close.”

The young man smiled at him, Holding out a hand he looked at Shampoo and Ukyo. “You want Ranma don’t you?” the both girls nodded. “Good I’ll help you the first to kill Akane can have him.”

Aries froze his body tensing. “I wont let you! I wont be stopped when I’m so close!”

“Poor, poor Ranma didn’t you know, that everything happens for a reason.”

Thunder cracked down as the girls stared at him. “Ran-chan?” “ Ranma?”

Aries looked at him and glared. “I’ll kill all of you before I let you take her away again!”

All right I feel like being bitchy 5 reviews for next chapter. And don’t ask I have no idea about my story either. See this is what happens when you don’t plan a story and just write whatever thought appears first.
