Tables Turned A fanfic by Tsukino Kage Spectre set in "Ranma One Half" by Rumiko Takahashi with cameos from various other series belonging to their respective owners. *** Chapter Nine - Ranko Iterative *** Spectre was tired. The battle had been more than he had thought it would be, but he knew victory was his. He noticed though, that Chaos was being his usual spiteful self. He was still attempting to take Nodoka's starseed, (what was left of it anyway) the physical representation of a person's soul, back with him to his little corner of Hell. Spectre tsked! at that. He was tempted to let Chaos have her, as certainly she deserved it. In his opinion, she failed as a mother, but never paid a price for her sins. Others would disagree though, and even he grudgingly admitted that much as he disliked her, he was still the embodiment of Justice rather than Vengeance, and could thus show mercy on occasion. Besides, he loathed the idea of making Chaos any stronger than he was now. Even if he allowed the others who tormented Ranma to fall at his enemy's hands, he admitted that their actions were malicious acts of evil, where Nodoka was simply 'crackers'. He looked at Ranma. Poor kid was in a fetus position, not caring anymore if it was unmanly to cry as the tears flowed. If anything, getting at least something out of this might be able to rebuild his life from the horrors committed in the last two days. Two days, had it really been only that long? It seemed longer to both men. Spectre especially was feeling somewhat guilty at Ranma's pain. He did manipulate both him indirectly and his mother directly into this mess, and it had gotten her body carved in two. He had everything go as planned, even the little contingencies had paid off precisely as expected, and thus this outcome was predicted, but he never expected to be caught with a starseed still salvageable from all this. He expected them all to be either destroyed completely or returned to their owners' bodies. All this went through his mind in a second. Making a decision, he attempted to use his energies to burn off the last remnants of Chaos' grip on the crystal-like structure, but the grip was suprisingly strong, and he was still too tired to break it in the time before it fell into the window to Chaos' realm, after which it would close up for the forseeable future, and be lost forever. Spectre knew that what he needed was a vacant body to put it in. That would be easy at full power, as he could create one, but not as he was now. He needed a body that was already made, and the one Nodoka had been born with was destroyed. His gaze fell on Ranko, lying in bed with her eyes open, staring at the ceiling as if lifeless. The other girls were coming to their senses and looking around, exclaiming all sorts of things. The controls used upon them seemingly broken. Spectre grinned. 'This is perfect,' he thought to himself. Chaos' creation had no soul, she was but a puppet of Ranma's will. As he was barely above comatose at the moment, he had no will to summon, and thus, she was out like a light. But she could be made to accomodate a soul for a lifetime easily. Plus, he liked the irony of putting Nodoka in the body of what was the first girl to feel her son's lust, given that she always tried to make him 'manly'. With a thought, it was done, and Spectre turned his attemtions to Ranma. He teleported Ranma, Nodoka-Ranko and himself to the Saotome home living room, where he left Nodoka-Ranko on the couch. Ranma had collapsed on the easy chair across it, his face haggard and drawn. "Do you know who I am Ranma?" Spectre inquired gently. Ranma looked up to see Spectre looking down at him. "Yeah, you're Spectre, ain't ya?" Spectre nodded. "Wadda ya want from me?" Ranma laughed bitterly. "I already lost everything, including my soul." "Definitely not!" Spectre exclaimed, and at Ranma's curious look, he explained. "Ranma, the reason you lost control like that was that Chaos did not just tempt you, but also altered your thinking to suit his needs. None of it was your fault." "But..." "No buts!" Spectre interrupted furiously. "You listen to me, and you listen good. Chaos wanted you, like everyone in your life, to feel guilty about their problems so they can expliot you." "Watcha mean?" Ranma was now confused, and Spectre saw it, so he decided to continue explaining. "I mean your so-called family and friends," Spectre supplied. "They all blamed you for problems that were either nobody's fault, their fault, or somebody else's fault, and you keep taking their shit. Akane, Mu Tsu, Ryoga, Kuno, and the fiancee's various suitors never listened to your side of the story, always assuming you were at fault for everything that happened. Kodachi, Ukyo, Ku Lon, Happosai, Xian Pu, Nabiki and especially your father never gave a thought of what you wanted, always blaming you for not getting what they wanted and making you suffer for their gain. They all believe that with you not in their lives, it would be much better, but in reality, that is not the case. I have the means to look at and travel to alternate realities, possibilities of what might have been, and in all of them that you don't exist, the world is a darker, harsher place for those ingrates. You mother is a lunatic that made you do unreasonable things and tried to kill you for not obeying. They didn't want you as a person, they wanted you as a slave. You know all this intellectually, and Chaos amplified your dark feelings to act on them, which you would not have done otherwise." "But that means I had those feelings all along," Ranma argued, once more nearing tears. "That means it was still my fault for having such wrong feelings in the first place." "Ranma," Spectre patiently replied. "You can't be a person and not feel such things. The darkness is part of all of us, and the more we suffer, the more we feel against the injustice of it. Given your suffering, it was a miracle you didn't snap on your own and had to be pushed. That's a credit to your inner strength." "For now though," Spectre continued. "The girls are no longer enslaved, and the guys who died are dead, with one exception which I'll get to." Ranma perked up at that last statement, but a nagging thought leapt foremost in his mind. "Why would you help me? What do you get out of this?" Once bitten, twice shy. Spectre chuckled. "Good. Your learning. For myself, I feel a little for you since Chaos dragged you into our fight, and so you had to suffer, so I'm just trying to set some things straight to clear my conscience. Unlike my enemy, who is very good with half-truths by the way, I do have honor and morals." Ranma frowned. His confidence was somewhat more boosted, but he was still somewhat unconvinced, but let it slide for now. "Continue." "To put it bluntly," Spectre replied, and silently thought 'Not that you'd understand any other way.' "You and the girls are free of Chaos' influence, but the power in you remains, along with some other permanent changes. Before you ask, no, i can't change everything back, nor will I try such a uselessly wasteful gesture." "But..." Ranma thought of what Spectre said. He couldn't do anything about what was now reality, but... "What is this about the power? I thought it came from Chaos." "Not exactly," Spectre smirked. "Chaos merely showed you how to access certain latent abilities in you. You see, everyone is born with hidden talents, including psychic potential. Chaos merely unlocked yours and amplified them. The amplification is permanent, but has a catch." "What catch?" Ranma warily asked. "You drew upon his power to increase your own, which allowed you to easily alter reality. In truth, your not that strong. Altering garments, small objects and the occasional weak mind within line of sight are the best you can do with out an outside power source. But you still get energy like you did before, only this time, you store it, and must therefore build-up your reserves or unleash it. You can have this." Spectre threw a small crystal at Ranma. "This is a power crystal. It is the ultimate battery, and one of my best creations. You can store great amounts of energy on it, enough to power a city the size of Tokyo for fifty years. It should last you your lifetime, so take care of it." "..." Ranma was speechless. A priceless gift, and he was given it seemingly for nothing. "You altered certain inanimate objects, and they'll stay the way you did it. Also, you manipulated the Furinkan High School crowd, and they now believe what you sent them, including your pull out from school." "The girls... well, Ranko here is the special case, but generally, when you altered certain portions of their personality, it was permanent, but they aren't your slaves now. And Hinako Ninomiya is no longer prone to returning to her child-like state." "And Ranko?" Ranma inquired. "You also mentioned a survivor." "They're related," Spectre continued. "You see, I saved your mom's soul from being eaten by Chaos like the others, but didn't have a body for her to stay in since it was destroyed. I didn't have the strenght to create a new one before Chaos succeeded to taking her soul away to be eaten, so to save her, I placed her soul in Ranko's body." "You WHAT!" Ranma screamed. "You mean I screwed my MOTHER?" "No you did not," Spectre calmly answered, which also calmed Ranma somewhat though he was still a little flushed. "She is not your mother. Think of the soul as merely being reincarnated, and thus no genetic relation exist, therefore, there is no incest. Trust me on this, I know all about reincarnations(1)." "Further, Ranko's personality is dominant. I said she was a special case to the girls right? Some aspects of Nodoka will come out, but on the whole, she is an entirely different person, one that you and Chaos created together, and is totally devoted to you." "You mean, she's still my slave?!" Ranma asked incredulously. "Yes Ranma," Spectre affirmed. "That is the only personality this body had prior to the merger, and as such, it was dominant since the other was greatly weakened and dying. They are now merged, but the undamaged personality will forever be dominant, and that is a sex slave to you." Seeing Ranma shudder, Spectre continued. "And no, you needn't feel guilty about fucking her, since she IS not your mother, and wouldn't be alive if not for you. Also, she lives for you, you are the center of her existence. If you turn her away, she'll die. You don't want that do you?" Ranma shook his head no, and he was beginning to brighten up some as what Spectre said sunk in. "Good," Spectre cheerily said. "I'll go now, as I have other things to do. You might see me again, you might not, but I'll watch from afar occasionally. A word of advice though, lose the big ego and the guilt trips. They'll destroy you if you're not careful. And enjoy that girl, many would kill to get one like her. Think of her as your reward for surviving this experience." So saying, Spectre vanished in a flash of dark light. The flash proved too much for the already wakening Ranko, who opened her eyes to look upon Ranma. She smiled. "Oh Master!" she fell to her knees, clutching her hands together in a pleading gesture. She looked up at him with puppy dog eyes. "Have pity on this humble slave and take me to heaven once more! Please Master, my body burns for your touch!" The sight of the beautiful girl kneeling before him asking to be fucked was too much for Ranma to take. Taking off his clothes, he proceeded to fulfill her request. Ranko mumbled her thanks as her Master took her in his strong arms, carrying her into the master bedroom. Spying his large, erect member, she exclaimed, "Oh how manly!" Ranma sweatdropped. 'Of all the things in mom's personality that survived, THAT had to be it'(2) he thought with a sigh. Laying her on the large bed (but nowhere near as large as the one at the Kuno mansion). He entered her to the hilt as she mewed her pleasure. pulling out, he entered again and again and again until they came together. Apparently, his order to come when he came was still in effect. Ranko then wordlessly got up and did a seductive little striptease, gyrating as she removed her crotchless panties (through which, Ranma can access her cunt), her heels, stockings, tie, shirt, bra, and skirt. Ranma masturbated to this show, which caused them both to orgasm again. Ranko was in ecstasy. Nothing pleased her like pleasing her Master. He was All in her short life. She proceeded to blow him, giving him the royal treatment with her toungue and lips, causing yet another little death for both of them. She then mounted him and gyrated herself on his member. The pleasure once more reached a climax, and they just kept coming. Ranma fell asleep with his member in her sheath, as she too felt the sandman's spell while atop him. *** (1) This will be revealed in Spectre's Saga, which is still in the ideas stage of development. (2) What do you expect? This seems to be the defining mark in Nodoka's personality, so it's obvious that it would survive when all else is stripped away. *** Author's notes The title was inspired by my Numerical Methods and Analysis class, where iterative (one calculation follows another in a looping, set pattern) calculations are used to program computers to solve mathematical problems. Iterative basically means, "Again and again and again and..." Some of you may become upset at what happened to Ranko and Nodoka. Frankly, inbreeding was originally made taboo since people found out that it produced children with abnormalities, due to recessive genes becoming dominant in the mix. Besides, it is NOT incest since Nodoka is only part of the new Ranko, and the body is really a magical construct with no genetic relation to Ranma or the old Nodoka. This part was planned from the beginning, which is why Ranko has 'no soul'. She has one now. I sent someone a copy of a partial draft of this chapter, that I have now revised. I wrote this without consulting my e-mail, so I don't know if he (she? I really can't tell with internet psuedonyms, please don't feel insulted for none was intended) wrote back. Next up: Kasumi, Akari, Xian Pu and Hinako Iterative! Did you forget about the other girls? What would they do now? And more interludes with Spectre and friends.
