It had been two weeks since he got to Truce, a city of the Guardia Kingdom.
The first thing he did when he got to the town was changing his Hylian Rupees for Guardia's currency, paying a month's worth of time in one of the town stables for his horse, and getting a room in the town's inn.

After that, he met a girl called Lucca in Truce's marketplace; she was buying some spare parts since she was something of an inventor. Seeing Lucca as maybe the only person in this world that could make a machine like B-ko's dimensional gateway that will let him go back to Japan. Gel quickly asked if he could work as her assistant, an offer that Lucca quickly accepted since she was really good when it came to making things, but not very good at anything else like cleaning her room and stuff like that.

After just a few days of working for Lucca, Gel met Lucca's best friends, a guy named Crono, and his girlfriend who happened to be princess Nadia of the Guardia Kingdom. For some reason they all called her Marle.

They all knew why he was here, and about his Jusenkyo curse. He had been kind of forced to tell them after a day that rained.

It came as a surprise to Gel when he found out that Marle and Crono, even if they were good friends for a while, had only became a couple since the day he got to Truce. He knew it was only a coincidence, but it was an interesting coincidence.

Another funny thing is that all the strange incidents that were happening in Truce, caused by some unknown fiend, had stopped since Gel arrived. Another strange coincidence.

Well, he didn't have time to think about this, he had to go to Lucca's house to help her like he had been doing since he got here. Instead of paying him, Gel had asked if Lucca could build the gateway machine that he needed. It came as a surprise when Lucca not only agreed but also she already had some experience on opening 'Gates' as she called them.

Dressing up for the day, Gel went downstairs of the inn to eat breakfast.

Crono slowly began climbing down the wall that went from Marle's room to the castle's field. He still had twenty minutes before his mother checked on him.

She had been following Rina's presence for weeks now; even if she was human now, and all her powers were gone, she still had some kind of magical link with her 'dark side'. When she entered this town, she had felt Rina's presence close by, and was ready for anything.

Gel smiled and nodded, "Don't worry Perfume, we are together again, and a friend I made in this town is helping me by building a machine that will let us go back to Japan …"

Perfume's eyes lit up at that comment, "Really? Oh, Gel, that's wonderful … I can't wait to go back to Japan … you wouldn't believe all the things that happened since I got to this world."

Gel let out a small laugh, "I think I have an idea," then he remembered something, and his face turned serious, "we can't go back yet tough. Remember that Kain used that Jusenkyo water to separate your human side from your succubus side. We still have to find Rina."

Even if Crono was surprised, he heard what Rina said, and took a more defensive stance. Meanwhile, his cat turned to look at them and hissed at Rina as the door closed behind her.

Rina turned at the hissing cat, that looked like it was ready to leap towards her, "Sleep," she said with a soothing tone of voice.

Suddenly, Crono's cat stopped hissing, and went limp on the kitchen floor, falling asleep on the spot.

Crono was surprised at this, "What … what did you do to my cat!?"

Rina smiled mischievously, "It just feel asleep … you on the other hand …"

Before Crono could do anything, Rina placed a hand on Crono's forehead and pulled off his bandana, then she pressed her palm on Crono's forehead. As Rina did this, her hand and her eyes began to shine a crimson red.

Lucca nodded.
