RANMA 1/2 THE NEXT GENERATION HENTAI RPG - 4: thread 1 > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/RtNGHrpg2/ Compilation and proofreading by St Fan [CONTINUED FROM EPISODE 3, THREADS 1 & 2] Kimiko and Mascara, end of exercise St Fan, Kami of Writer's Block Akane and Nodoka, having secured the cakes in the kitchen, went to the entrance of the living room and watched the party. It sure wouldn't be long before the chocolate cake Ranma and the twins had prepared yesterday would be done with, and her mother-in-law's contribution would be welcomed. Nodoka was smiling tenderly, waiting for the right moment to approach her granddaughters and give them their gift. For now they were busy cutting the cake with Ranma's help. Akane was glaring at Ranma-chan, but she sure didn't want to spoil the fun of the kids, so she'd have her explanation with Ranma later, when everybody will be gone to school. The pregnant wife then noticed Kimiko and Mascara standing just at the corner of the hallway. She couldn't hear what they were talking about, but she was glad to see they hadn't disappeared; she was starting to wonder where they'd gone. It left only Satori, Chisame and Shitagi missing. Walking to the daughter she fathered and the adopted catgirl, Akane spoke to them: "Ah, here you are! I was wondering if you'd ever show up. Why haven't you given your gift to the twins yet? By the way, Kimiko-chan, I have to talk to you...." Re: Kimiko and Mascara, end of exercise Cuteycindyhoney Mascara nearly lost one of her nine lives! Had mama-Akane heard what she said? Her heart slowed its racing. Obviously not. The feline smiled. "We wanted to let them think we forgot, myu!" The catgirl turned to go. "Myu, be right back!" She ran back to the bedroom to get the gift. She hurried. Normally she didn't eat cooked food, but cake was always welcome! The petite feline came charging back, carrying a large cheerfully wrapped box. "Ta da, myu!" Re: Kimiko and Mascara, end of exercise T.H. Tiger Kimiko heart nearly stopped, or at least tried to run away and hide. Dad wanted to talk to her. Kimiko, focused on the situation with her and Mascara, could not even begin to imagine that her Dad's talk could be about anything else. "I won't leave Mascara!" she said loudly, but fortunately not loudly enough to be heard over the dull roar that was the birthday party. "If you kick her out, I'll go with her!" Kimiko said with intensity. Her eyes were tearing with the strength of her feelings. Her love for Mascara might have only firmed up this morning, but it had been growing and taking shape for years, and now, with it being fresh and new, nothing in her life was more important to her. Re: Kimiko and Mascara, end of exercise St Fan, Kami of Writer's Block Akane blink-blinked, starring at Kimiko with incomprehension. "What are you talking about? Why would I kick Mascara-chan out? You know I would never do such a thing!" Sure, she was fairly upset toward her husband, but blaming Ranma's children for their father's fault truly wasn't her style. She never held against Mascara that she was Shampoo's daughter; it would have been petty and low. "I want to talk to you about a Dôjô Yaburi that just showed up to defy the dojo. I would like you to take on the challenge...." Re: Kimiko and Mascara, end of exercise Cuteycindyhoney Mascara nearly dropped the gift. Her sensitive ears picked up what Kimiko said. "No!" she whispered, once more gripped in fear. Had Mama-Akane figured them out after all? "A challenge?" Kimiko was to answer a challenge for the dojo? Fear was forgotten. Worry took its place. Mascara knew Kimiko was a gifted fighter. She also knew her unique elastic body was very near to indestructible. This didn't matter right now! Her heart pounded as she did the only thing she could think of to help. "Mama-Akane! Myu, I can take the challenge!" she shouted. She couldn't even begin to think about Kimiko being hurt! "I know she's a better fighter then me, myu, but, but, If she's hurt, I'll never, I mean you'll never forgive yourself!" Wait, that didn't come out quite right. "Uh, I'm not really your daughter, so, um, it's better if I get beat up." Everyone was looking at her, and Mascara suddenly felt rather foolish. "Not that I'd lose or anything!" The feline lashed her tail as she thought hard. "She has a cold! Yes, myu, that's right! Kimiko has a cold, she can't answer a challenge today!" She rushed over and put a paw on her sister/love's forehead. "Oh my! You have a fever! No fighting today, young lady!" Re: Kimiko and Mascara, end of exercise T.H. Tiger Kimiko's heart slowed as she realized her dad didn't know the truth, and then it speeded up again, this time from excitement. Dad wanted her to fight for the dojo! Alright! Which was when Mascara butted in. For the first half of her life, Kimiko had been the runt, fragile and small, cosseted and never allowed to undergo full contact training. It had grated on her, no matter how justified it might have been. Her rubber curse had changed that, but slowly. It had taken a while for her parents to understand she wouldn't break in a stiff breeze. Now, finally, the culmination. Her dad offered her the honor of defending the dojo. And Mascara was going to get all protective and try and take that away from her. I don't think so. "Stop that!" Kimiko said to Mascara, batting her hand away from her forehead. "I don't have a fever! I am going to fight this challenger!" She glared at Mascara, her eyes glinting and with no back down in them. Re: Kimiko and Mascara, end of exercise St Fan, Kami of Writer's Block Akane blink-blinked again. What was up with those two? She knew the both of them were pretty close, but it was unusual for Mascara to be so protective. Her motherly instinct was telling her something was up, but she couldn't pinpoint what. Whatever, she had other worries right now. "Sorry, Mascara-chan, but this challenge specifically concern the Tendô Ryû of martial arts, not the Saotome Ryû. Which mean only one of my blood can compete. So it's either Satori or Kimiko. Satori went out this morning, and I didn't see her coming back yet, so it has to be Kimiko. "And honestly, I prefer it that way... you know that a challenge to the whole dojo would be Shitagi's job to handle, and I *don't* want to see a repeat of what happened with the last Dôjô Yaburi... the poor guy is still in a full-body cast at the hospital!" Where was that girl, by the way? Akane hadn't seen her this morning. Oh, well, she probably blew up her clock and overslept once again. It was probably for the best. "Anyway, I don't want you to get late for school, so you'd better get ready and conclude this quickly. I'll show you your challenger." Even if Fûrinkan was probably the only high school that accepted "martial art challenge" as a valid tardiness motive, Akane sure didn't like her daughters to miss any school. Re: Kimiko and Mascara, end of exercise Cuteycindyhoney Mascara saw the steel glint in Kimiko's eyes, and knew she was in for it. The feline backed down, and FAST! "I'm sorry, Mama-Akane. I understand. I, I was just kidding around." She faced her beloved sister. *Forgive me?* she mouthed, while giving a tiny bow. "Myu! Go get 'em, Stretch!" she said in a valiant attempt to sound happy. She moved in back of Kimiko, and started rubbing her shoulders like a personal trainer would. "Mama-Akane, you have nothing to worry about! Kimiko will defend the dojo in style!" Leaning forward slightly, she pitched her voice so just Kimiko could hear... she hoped. "Don't you dare get hurt, Love. If you get hurt, I'll, I'll...I'll kill you, myu!" Re: Kimiko and Mascara, end of exercise Sakraida After given the gift on the top of the present pile and seeing the candles blown out, she thought about what she was going to do with the signpost of the dojo. "Now let's see. Mom wouldn't want me to bring it home. I could hear her right now. 'Samari, why did you take that? I told you not to go there and especially not to challenge them. And here you went and did this. Now march right back and return it.' So I have to hide it somehow. Hmm... how, though? A new door? Not big enough. A new closet door? No, too short. A prop for my bed? No, won't fit. A new shelf? Nah, then I'd have to drill holes in it and that would make mom even more unhappy. A platform for my stuffed animals? MMM... maybe but that has the same type of problems as the shelf did. Take out a plan from my floor and replace it with the sign? Nah, then I wouldn't be able to see it every day and be happy with it. What am I going to do with the dojo sign?" A bunch of question marks came over her head. Re: Living Room, Birthday Party Byooki Desu Actually, come to think of it both Daiji and Yoiko had read something somewhere about a martial arts technique which involved fire and blowing... what was it again? Had to do something with a special sort of gasoline.... Grabbing the knife, Yoiko twirled it around, ready to start cutting up the cake when she heard what her mom was saying. "Papa?" She blinked, almost dropping the knife, a bad thing seeing as she had been twirling it in her hand and how many people were around. Daiji managed to grab the knife away from Yoiko before said sister almost had an accident. Daiji's own eyes then quickly returned to her mom. Inoma, who Daiji had seen only briefly one or at the most two times before, chose that moment to announce that she would have to step out for awhile. Not something that Daiji would have had much trouble with, had the young woman not chosen to call Daiji and her twin kids. Daiji opened her mouth about to retort angrily when she practically got a teddy shoved under her nose. Mind you, not one of those frilly see through teddies that Shitagi sometimes chose to prance around in, but the cuddly kind that little kids liked. Daiji was speechless; Yoiko, however, wasn't. "Wow!! Cell-phones!!" Seeing that the phone was already in operating order, batteries obviously included, Yoiko flipped the little lid up dialing her Papa's phone number. Of course, Ranma had seen to it that that particular number was in the phone's memory but Yoiko wasn't very good with cellular phones and seeing as she knew Ryôga's number by heart she had just dialed it. The dialing tone sounded, once, twi-- [The Number You Are Trying To Reach Is Either Out Of The Dialing Zone Or Not Connected At The Moment, Please Try Again Later.] Yoiko twitched... well that sucked.... Meanwhile one of the little rugrats had procured the cuddly Teddy from Daiji, who was starting to cut up the cake. It was her favorite kinda cake the kind she would soon be eating. Re: Living Room, Birthday Party St Fan, Kami of Writer's Block Ranma-chan sweatdropped. Various images of beating up that big oaf of Ryôga played in her head. In these days and ages, the cell-phones network covered most of Japan; it was rather hard to find a place that couldn't be reached, unless deep in the mountains or away at sea. And this idiot knew it was the twins' birthday; how the hell did he manage to get that lost during such an important time? She giggled nervously. "Oh, well, better luck next time..." she tentatively said to Yoiko. "I'm sure you'll join him some time today..." '... or I'll personally kill him...' she added inwardly. That baka hadn't shown in weeks. How she'd managed to spend five years married to him without going nuts and strangling him, she'd never know. Okay, it had its perk sometimes.... Meanwhile, Nodoka had entered and was also wishing a happy birthday to the twins. Her gift, no surprise, was consisting on a matching ensemble of very girly clothes, which would make no doubt Yoiko and Daiji look like pretty little dolls. Ranma watched tenderly all this... though she wondered why that teddy bear Daiji was clutching was making her danger sense tingle. Re: Kimiko and Mascara, end of exercise T.H. Tiger Kimiko looked around the room, and then gave herself a mental kick. Of course the challenger was not here, he'd be out in the dojo. In her mind, Kimiko was busy creating an image of her opponent. He'd be huge of course, seven feet tall, just like all dojo destroyers, or so it seemed in her mom's stories. He'd be ugly. In her mind Kimiko imagined a distorted face, drool leaking out of loose lips. "Ewwww, I don't want to fight that," she mumbled to herself. The image cleaned up a bit. The opponent was still cruel looking, but in a rugged, dangerous way. He'd have a big scar on his face, maybe across one eye, that would give him a permanent sneer. He'd have big muscles, a big chest and... for a second the image fluttered between sumo wrestler, and trim movie star belly, before settling on thick- waisted, but not fat. He'd have big strong legs, with heavy muscles in the thighs, and between them... Kimiko got a bit flushed. "He be big, really, really big, and when he beat her, he'd tear off her pants and.... "Ohhh, no, no, you mustn't! Everyone will see!" Kimiko squealed, cupping her face with her hands. A second later, she blinked, and looked at all the people staring at her. "Ahhhh, errrrr...." She sweatdropped. "So, where is the challenger, dad?" she asked Akane. Re: Kimiko and Mascara, end of exercise St Fan, Kami of Writer's Block Akane blinked, watching Kimiko mumble and get all excited, as if in some sort of daydream. Then she shook her head and her shoulders slumped. At least *that* was much more closer to her little girl's usual behavior... alas. It's not like Akane never tried to get her to stay more in touch with reality, but it always has been a loosing fight. Just as she'd never convinced Kimiko to stop calling her 'dad'. Sighing, Akane looked over the living room, where reigned what could only be called "organized chaos", in search of Samari-chan. The twins were receiving their gifts from Nodoka, with Ranma watching over them. Akane resisted the urge to snort and the sight of her feminine husband. She swore again that Ranma-baka would have to explain himself. In a corner, the panda was all tied up with the ribbons that once held the gift wrappings closed... and struggling against those bonds in a vain attempt to reach the large birthday cake, which the ravenous children were devouring in short order, under the desperate eyes of their grandfather. Akane frowned, recognizing the panda-neutralizing technique in which Ranma carefully coached their kids. She'd have to scold him about *that* too. Re: Kimiko and Mascara, end of exercise Cuteycindyhoney *Everyone will see?* Mascara leaped back from Kimiko. "Yowl!" She spun around so her back was to the room. The panic stricken feline stared long and hard down at her skirt. Phew! For a second she thought she had a boner again! "Myu, I didn't do anything! Nobody will see a thing!" Mascara looked wildly around. "Uh, never mind." she said weakly. Damn and hairballs! She should have recognized a Kimiko daydream! "Yeah, Mama-Akane, where's the big dumb brute who thinks he can beat my, uh, our Kimiko?" Re: Living Room, Birthday Party Akurei no Kishi Satori poked her head in, and looked around. She was trying to avoid her "father" and hoped that she wouldn't get into trouble since she was kind of late in getting back, not to mention she didn't exactly have a gift for the twins. Re: Kimiko and Mascara, end of exercise Sakraida Samari walked around the cake for a small amount of time, still lost in thought about what she would do when she got the sign. Speaking of which, she needed to get home before he mother worried about her. She bounded to Akane. "Oh, I have to be home soon. Can I challenge the person now so I can go? And can I take some cake with me along the way? Re: Kimiko and Mascara, end of exercise St Fan, Kami of Writer's Block "The big brute..." started Akane as Samari joined them, "is here." She snapped fingers in front of Kimiko's face to be sure she had her attention. "Yes, Samari-chan, the challenge can be now; I don't want my daughters to be late for school." she told to the teenage Dojo-Destroyer-wannabe. "Mascara-chan, why don't you give the twins your gift while we go to the dojo? Oh, and there's some cakes your grandmother brought in the kitchen. Please bring them to this voracious bunch once the chocolate one will be finished...." Re: Kimiko and Mascara, end of exercise T.H. Tiger Kimiko stared up at the challenger. This shrimp was the dojo destroyer? Kimiko did not find anything ironic in her considering someone taller than her a shrimp. Nearly everyone was bigger than her. She felt let down. She'd been expecting a monster, and instead she got this... little girl. Re: Kimiko and Mascara, end of exercise Sakraida "OH SO CUTE!!!!" Samari said after a few seconds with her eyes big and googly and then reached for something in her back pocket. It was a huge bow with little trims and she placed it squarely on top of Kimiko's head. "There we go. You are now all cute. AWWW..." She had a big grin and looked at Akane. "TO THE DOJO!!" Re: Kimiko and Mascara, end of exercise Cuteycindyhoney Mascara stared at Mama-Akane. "You mean, myu, I can't come watch?" This was terrible! She just had to be there to show her support for Kimiko! "I won't interfere I promise!" She clasped her paws together. "Please? Can't I come too?" Re: Living Room, Birthday Party Byooki Desu Trying to get some cake before their younger siblings ate it all was no small feat, and Yoiko and Daiji were almost forced to grapple with the younger kids to get anything to eat. How did you fight little kids anyway? You couldn't fight them the normal way, and their large number more than made up in the strength department. Daiji was not one to give up however, her brain already having devised the perfect way to deal with her siblings. "Hey, what is that!!" she suddenly yelled out pointing away from the cake and making all of the little children turn away... sadly enough, so did Yoiko as well. Diving towards the cake, Daiji stabbed at it with a fork. Yoiko looked in the direction her sister had been pointing, at first not seeing anything special, then noticed Satori as the older girl was looking to be trying to sneak in towards the cake. Off to the side, Kimiko and Mascara were talking with Akane about something but that was of lesser concern. Satori wasn't the oldest sister but she was the tallest one, standing five foot six and with a temper that made a rabid dog seem logical. Yoiko always got the feeling that she didn't like the fact that she wasn't the oldest sister any longer. Yoiko had only been seven back then when her Papa had found Shitagi, but up until then she had always seen Satori as the oldest sister. Grabbing the teddy bear that had been forgotten when the cake had been cut up, Yoiko aimed it at Satori and threw it. "Catch!" she yelled, then almost had her eyes pop out of their head as she saw knives pop out of the teddy bear as it spun towards her sister... "oh, crap!" Re: Kimiko and Mascara, end of exercise St Fan, Kami of Writer's Block Akane frowned as she watched the party turn into a near-brawl for the cake. Ranma-chan and Nodoka were doing their best to get the little imps to calm down, but it was doomed to failure the very instant Yoiko and Daiji joined into the fray. "You can come watch Kimiko's fight any time, Mascara-chan..." started Akane, her tone quickly getting authoritarian, "AFTER you brought the cakes in! Come on, they're starting to fight, that's the only way to calm them down, I don't want anybody to get hurt! MOVE ON, FASTER THAN THAT!" Re: Kimiko and Mascara, end of exercise T.H. Tiger Kimiko's battle aura flared. "Cute, CUTE! I'm not cute. I'm a martial artist you, you, you, girl you." Kimiko turned to Akane. "Don't worry, Dad. I'll kick her a... rear." Re: Kimiko and Mascara, end of exercise Cuteycindyhoney "Oh! Yes ma'am, Meow!" Mascara actually saluted, before racing to the kitchen. "More cake!" she bellowed. She grabbed the trays she found waiting, and took a deep breath. "FREEZE, MYU!" she shouted, as she entered the room. "I have cake here! If anyone moves before I put it down, they're kitty litter!" Re: Living Room, Birthday Party Akurei no Kishi Satori blinked. She was busy trying to sneak into the party, trying to avoid father Ranma, that it took her a couple of seconds to figure out that the teddy bear that was being thrown was armed with rather sharp daggers. Now, normally Satori wouldn't worry about it, and just dodge it and counterattack, but since fighting was the last thing on her mind, she did what came instinctively.... She dropped to her knees, and let the dagger-wielding bear pass her and imbed itself into the wall. Re: Kimiko and Mascara, end of exercise Sakraida "BUT YOU ARE CUTE!!!!" Samari said with her hands cupped together, as she walked towards what she thought was the dojo. She waved towards Akane. "Aren't you going to ref?" she asked. She made big, heart- shaped eyes at Kimiko, who she still thought looked adorable with the bow on her head. Re: Living Room, Birthday Party St Fan, Kami of Writer's Block "What the...?" Ranma-chan blinked and walked to the wall were the deadly toy was imbedded. She'd been too busy herding the rowdy kids when the 'attack' happened, but her martial art instinct had flared immediately and she saw everything. Luckily, Satori was as well trained as any of her daughters and ducked before the teddy bear could graze her. Most of the guests and kids had missed the near catastrophe. Only Daiji, Yoiko and Piyo were looking at Satori in frozen shock. Even better, Mascara-chan arrived at that time with more cakes, noisily bringing everybody's attention to her. The children mostly obeyed the catgirl, not jumping her and the tempting cake immediately. But they circled her, their stomach grumbling, eying the cakes like a bunch of starved wolves. They seemed ready to swarm her at any moment. Helping Satori upright, Ranma then glared at Yoiko. Thanks to Mascara's distraction, Ranma could scold the twins without too many people noticing something was amiss. "Just what was the bright idea, Yoiko-chan? Is that one of your new 'techniques'?" Re: Living Room, Birthday Party Cuteycindyhoney Mascara held the cake trays high. Well, as high as her petite size would let her. Good thing she was a real "people cat". "Hold it, myu! If you guys jump on me, I, I'll eat up all this yummy cake myself, meow!" Re: Living Room, Birthday Party Akurei no Kishi Satori blinked, and looked at the teddy bear. "Someone tell me that I'm just dreaming this..." she mumbled, and pulled the stuffed bear out of the wall. Re: Living Room, Birthday Party Byooki Desu "That's my foot, not cake!" Daiji had had a hard time getting anything to eat even with her ingenious plan. The moment they had seen that it was only Satori, the little imps had returned their attention to one of the things that meant most in their lives... eating. Actually snatching food from Daiji's hands as she was about to cram it into her mouth, their gluttony and ravenous appetite leaving no room for any table-manners. -Tchonk- The sound made Daiji look up blinking her eyes as she saw the teddy bear imbedded in the wall just above Satori's head. > "Just what was the bright idea, Yoiko-chan? Is that one of your new > 'techniques'?" Daiji watched her twin visibly twitch. What the hell kind of teddy bear was that anyway? How was she supposed to have known that it contained daggers? "She... she wasn't supposed to duck!" Yoiko tried. Satori was supposed to catch it... it was just to get her attention... besides if she had meant to hit her with it she wouldn't have missed... she was sure Satori wasn't that good was she? Daiji blink-blinked, one of the little kids hanging with by the teeth from one of the girl's pigtails. Re: Living Room, Birthday Party St Fan, Kami of Writer's Block Fortunately for Mascara, she was spared the assault of the hungry wolves... ahem... kids by her grandmother. Nodoka, looking perfectly calm and in control, shooed the children so that they leave the nervous catgirl some space. Then she started cutting the cakes and distributing the pieces, her kind but firm demeanor totally diffusing the crisis. She had totally missed the incident with the teddy bear, and as such wasn't paying much attention to Ranma-chan and the twins. But that was not out of obliviousness; the Saotome matriarch was just getting a little hard of hearing lately. Ranma-chan, although allegedly the most lenient of the couple compared to Akane, could nonetheless bare her teeth at times when she believed her kids where doing really stupid things. And right now, she was glaring at Yoiko and showing pointed fangs that would make a Hibiki proud. "Whaddya mean, 'she wasn't supposed to duck!'? Are ya telling me you actually intended to skewer your own sister!?" Picking the dangerous toy from Satori's nerveless fingers, Ranma examined it more closely. "And where the heck did you find that thing anyway? It looks like something a Kunô could have come with..." she commented, while poking the plushy toy's head... ... and a gout of flame suddenly shot from its eyes, singing Ranma's red hair. O_o; Re: Living Room, Birthday Party Cuteycindyhoney A very relieved Mascara took a moment to scarf a generous portion of cake. Cakes, and some pies, were the only "cooked" foods her unique system could tolerate. She hadn't had time to hunt up something tasty for breakfast yet! She had heard crickets chirping last night too... YUM! Taking an extra piece of cake for Kimiko (at the risk of losing a paw!) the feline headed for the dojo. Yesh! What the heck was Pop playing with? He nearly set his pretty red hair ablaze! "Pop! whattaya doing, myu?" She paused in front of her father. "Didn't you hear? Kimiko has a challenge, myu! What are you fiddling around with dangerous toys for?" Re: Living Room, Birthday Party Akurei no Kishi Satori laughed a bit. "What's the matter pop? Can't take the heat?" she asked, and took the deadly Teddy, looking at it, before twitching rather nervously. Satori grumbled a bit, as she was shocked a second time, before she booted the bear out towards the swimming pool. "Why I oughta..." she grumbled. Re: Living Room, Birthday Party Byooki Desu "Hey, she's tall, she's got height to spare!" Daiji joked, watching her twin sister visibly cringe under their mothers scolding gaze. Yoiko didn't like Satori, but Daiji didn't think her sister would go to such extremes, and certainly not in front of their mother. Still, Yoiko wasn't doing anything to diffuse the situation; she wasn't denying anything. "Maybe..." Yoiko said in small voice, feeling as if everybody was looking at her when in reality only her mother, Daiji and Satori were the only ones that had their eyes on her. Watching her mom pick up the teddy bear, her eyes grew wide again as a flame suddenly shot out of the plush toy. Freaking out, Yoiko grabbed a hold of a large bowl of punch that was standing nearby. Unfortunately, it was the one meant for the grown-ups and thus contained alcohol. Throwing it at her mother to put out the flames, she watched in horror as the flames burst into an inferno. Re: Living Room, Birthday Party St Fan, Kami of Writer's Block Fortunately for Ranma-chan, there was an adamant rule in the Tendô Dôjô: no alcohol. Ever. Not even for the grown-ups. With all the kids around, keeping any alcoholic beverage would be unwise. And Ranma had enough bad experiences with alcohol (or other behavior-affecting drug like the Passion Spice) to be wary of the thing. Not to mention having the bad example of Genma, Sôun and Happôsai around. So, the punch was perfectly ethanol-free. Yoiko's imagination was often running wild, and for a short moment she actually believed to have put her mother on fire. But Ranma-chan was in fact only wet, sticky and distraught. "To think that some people have normal kids with normal problems... why did I ever do to deserve all this?" she mumbled, more to herself than anything else. She was still standing there, her dress soaked with fruit juices, when the teddy bear exploded from the bottom of the swimming pool and sent a geyser of water everywhere.... Re: Living Room, Birthday Party Cuteycindyhoney Mascara sighed. There was no helping it when pop got like this! "Poor Pop." she said gently while petting a wet and sticky hand. "Why don't you come with me and cheer on Kimiko? She's having a nice normal everyday challenge for the dojo. Myu, It'll do you good to see her whip that kid's butt." Mascara smiled sweetly. She couldn't help thinking that pop looked pretty darn sexy with her dress plastered to her like that. Re: Living Room, Birthday Party St Fan, Kami of Writer's Block Ranma-chan sighed, Mascara's contact helping to get her out of her funk. "I guess you're right..." she absentmindedly said to her catgirl daughter. Pointing a finger to the twin-pigtailed girl, she warned: "Okay, Yoiko-chan... this is your birthday, so I'm ain't going to give you a bare-ass spanking in front of everyone. But we gotta talk about that trapped teddy bear again later!" Rubbing her forehead and wishing that no other problem will fall on her today, she turned to Mascara, now processing her latest words. "Hu... what did you say about a challenge? When did that come out?" Re: Living Room, Birthday Party Byooki Desu Daiji watched her twin all huddled up, slowly seeming to shrink away from the festivity. She would have gone after her, but the conversation her mother and Mascara had was far too interesting to not listen to. A fight? Daiji's eyes lit up. She being a Saotome believed herself invincible; she being a Hibiki had found that lashing out was an effective way of keeping your mind away from depressing thoughts. Of course, having a mother that wouldn't get lost herself when looking for her and having a twin that always seemed to end up in the same places as her, the world wasn't a lonely a place as it had been for her father. "Who's fighting?" Daiji asked, her eyes going all big. Her sister Yoiko loved seeing new techniques and if... Daiji blinked; where was Yoiko anyway? Re: Living Room, Birthday Party Cuteycindyhoney "It just happened! Mama-Akane said Kimiko could answer the dojo sign challenge!" Her ears twitched, and she tugged her father's arm. "Myu, come on! I think they started!" Re: Living Room, Birthday Party St Fan, Kami of Writer's Block > "Who's fighting?" Daiji asked, her eyes going all big. Her sister > Yoiko loved seeing new techniques and if... Daiji blinked; where was > Yoiko anyway? "I don't know..." said a meek voice just behind Daiji, startling her again. Turning around she saw the Gosunkugi girl, who had mysteriously disappeared during the agitation. Even weirder, Piyo had a piece of different cakes in each hand. How the frail girl had managed to catch them during the all-out brawl for the sweets was anybody's guess. "Hmmm... where's Yoiko-chan? Should I do a card reading to find her? Or maybe use a pendulum..." > "It just happened! Mama-Akane said Kimiko could answer the dojo sign > challenge!" Her ears twitched, and she tugged her father's arm. > "Myu, come on! I think they started!" "What was the tomboy thinking? Kimiko is not the school champion.... Okay, she may be good enough to take most Dojo Destroyers, but if she ever face one above average...." Actually, that wasn't Ranma main concern for Kimiko taking a challenge. The way that girl ogled and drooled when seeing any Dôjô Yaburi of above-average size had always worried him/her. (Not that Shitagi was any better with female challengers). Ranma-chan looked around. It seemed Nodoka and Genma had the kids firmly in hands, so she could probably excuse herself. "Yeah, let's see what's going on. I'd be damned if I miss a martial art fight involving one of my kids anyway!" Re: Living Room, Birthday Party Suvinceus As Chisame went downstairs to the twins' birthday party, she smiled, and bowed to the guests. She didn't know who to converse with, as she made herself a drink. Re: Living Room, Birthday Party Cuteycindyhoney "Meow!" Mascara shook her head. "Sorry, Pop, that slipped out. You cussed first, though!" she said in an accusing manner. "Come on!" she tugged her pretty father's arm. We have to hurry!" Mascara was worried. Her brain knew Kimiko would be just fine, but her heart was worried sick! She had to be there to cheer her beloved sister on! Re: Living Room, Birthday Party Byooki Desu Daiji edged away from Piyo, mindful to keep an eye on her. Find Yoiko? No that wouldn't be a good idea.... Even if they could find her what, good would that do? Daiji didn't really know what had taken place, but knew that she herself would have felt terrible if her mother had scolded her, and knew that Yoiko would as well. She would be lonely and angry and sad and angry and... well maybe she should have gone after her sister, but giving her some time by herself to sort out her thoughts might be a good idea to. "Uh... I donnu... I'll find her later anyway." she told Piyo, then turned to her younger siblings, fist to her hips. "Listen here, you little munchkins, there better be some cake left when I get back or there is gonna be hell for you guys!" Of course her threat was as lame as they came, seeing as she would never be able to get rough with them. Turning around, she looked at Mascara, Piyo and her mom who seemed to have other concerns than what Yoiko was doing on her mind. "But I'd really like to see the fight... can I, Mom?" she asked, hoping her mother would understand that it wasn't really her permission she wanted but her help to not get lost on her way to the dojo outside. Sure Daiji did manage to find the dojo without getting lost several times, but sometimes when her mind wandered, so did her feet, and she could find herself somewhere completely different then she had planned. Re: Living Room, Birthday Party St Fan, Kami of Writer's Block Ranma-chan had slightly winced when Mascara meowed. Although she'd like her feline daughter to lose this habit, the pigtailed woman was far much more controlled than in her youth when hearing that. Letting the overexcited catgirl pull her out of the leaving room, she stopped when Daiji-chan asked her to watch the fight. Restraining Mascara from rushing out, she put a hand on the redhead's shoulder. "Sure Daiji-chan, you can come and watch." Ranma had always considered martial art fights to be quite educative. Looking around, she couldn't see Yoiko, but guessed the other twin had probably already rushed toward the dojo (if she didn't get lost). So, they followed Mascara -- or rather, were dragged by the impatient catgirl -- past the backdoor and on the covered passage leading to the dojo. Piyo was right behind them, as well as some other curious classmates. Re: Living Room, Birthday Party Akurei no Kishi Satori blinked, and suddenly stood up. "Fight? Where?!? Where?!?" she yelled out, then dashed towards the dojo. Re: Shitagi on the Warpath St Fan, Kami of Writer's Block Finishing to shower without taking the time to relax in the furo, Shitagi shook the water from her long braid by flailing it like a whip a few times. She had no time to shampoo it now; she'll have Yoiko and Daiji slave on it later, when she'd caught them. She then tied up the incredible pigtail for the day -- starting at a length around her knees, she coiled it on itself, going upward until it formed a regular cylinder of hair, tying the pointy end close to her skull. Shortly after, she exited the bathroom wearing her school uniform. A serious scowl on her face, she headed toward the living room. There, the few kids that weren't gone to watch the fight were finishing the cake. "Hi, Grandma, Grandpa... anybody know where that brat Kimiko is hiding?" Re: Shitagi on the Warpath St Fan, Kami of Writer's Block In the living room, Shitagi had waited for her grandmother to answer her question, but the Saotome matriarch obviously didn't hear her. But Genma-panda did, and under the dog-pile of youngsters that pinned him to the floor he managed to pull a sign explaining what was going on. "Wha... A DOJO CHALLENGE? FOR THAT BRAT KIMIKO? BUT THAT'S *MY* JOB! WHAT THE #@%$ IS GOING ON?" Unfortunately, this time Nodoka caught it... she wasn't yet *that* deaf. "Shitagi-chan... watch your language! There's little ones listening!" "Sorry Grandma... err... gotta go. I have a scrawny bu... a younger sis to ki... to scold. He, he..." Giggling nervously, Shitagi retreated in the hallway, before starting like a rocket in direction of the dojo. [TO BE CONTINUED IN EPISODE 5, THREADS 1 & 2]
