Another guy dressed entirly in white put a weapon to his throat, the long blade threatening to gouge the small man’s throat into little pieces. “I’m only doing my job; I’m a hired gun, I just shoot who I’m paid to shoot. I missed her and can’t try again, so I won’t.” The tall man dressed in white smirked and said “You’re right, you won’t.” just as he he pulled a trigger on the handle of the blade. The gun piece cocked and fired, putting a nice big hole in the man’s throat. “Be gone.” the tall man said as the body bleed. All severed ends disappeared, leaving no mess behind. He turned to Ranma, raised an eyebrow and said “You look lost....”

“OK...” Ranma said, sounding relaxed although every fiber in his being was tensed and ready to fight. “What the HELL was that about?” he demanded. Only someone who knew what to look for could tell the young Saotome was close to attacking.

Your fighting style is good but, you’re no match for my gun blade, so I wouldn’t try it....” he said, holding the weapon at his side. “OK, how about this?” He threw the gunblade into the air and caught it in his left hand. “If you’re not aware, that’s a knight’s sign of peace, the blade on the weak side.” He then put the blade away and closed the clamp on it, the weight of the blade noticeably weighting down the coat that it was attached to as Maverick tightened the peace tie. “I’m Maverick, that man just tried to kill a very important person; at least where I’m from she is.
