Please excuse its relative crudeness. I am a fan of the Ranma series, but not an expert. If there are an inconsistencies, please forgive me. There is a number of adult situations in this fanfic, and although they are sex scenes, they are not exactly within the 'hentai' genre. Characters from the Ranma series belong to Rumiko Takahashi and Kitty Studios. I claim no ownership of the said characters. Other characters are of my own invention. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Chapter I: Ranma's Back! Four years later... Genma Saotome sat across from Soun Tendo at the Go board. Genma had gained a series of fine wrinkles around his eyes. Soun was beginning to grey. The shogi board had been destroyed years ago, and now they had taken up the fine art of cheating at Go. Since the import of the Conan O'Brien show, the pair had taken up the distraction game. Banners, streamers, noisemakers, and various other implements stood waiting for use by their sides. They sat in the living room of the Tendo household. The sun was setting, reflecting off the backyard pool. The orange sky was filled with streaked clouds. The dim light traveled in beams through the living room. The door to the hallway was agape. In the kitchen, Kasumi and Nodoka were preparing the evening meal. Pots boiled and steamed. Vegetables were cut to a T. Beef was cut into small chunks. Kasumi and Nodoka were quietly chatting about the day's events. The door to the house swung open. Standing there, in the doorway was Akane Tendo. She was taller now, and seemed more mature and refined. She wore a suit jacket and skirt, looking like a business-woman. In her arms were bags of groceries. She stumbled forward unsteadily with the load as she walked down the hallway towards the kitchen and living room. Soun turned to face her, his face aglow. Genma took the opportunity to move two pieces. 'Ah!' he exclaimed. 'Akane! You've returned from a busy day, no doubt!' 'Yes, very busy.' Akane replied. Suddenly, there was a flurry of activity, as two small voices crackled and giggled. Two small children ran through the doorway. Akane was forced to rebalance herself as they flew past her. The children chased one another around the living room. The one being chased was a small boy, about three years of age. He wore shorts and a shirt. His hair was black and his eyes were blue. Chasing him was a cute girl of three years, with an amazing resemblance to him. She wore a flower-printed sun dress. Her hair was stark red and her eyes were also blue. Both had pigtails. 'Ryu! Ranko!' shouted Akane. 'Stand still!' The two tots immediately stopped in their paths and stood by each other. Soun and Genma began to chuckle. Ryu began to fidget. He scratched the back of his head. Kasumi and Nodoka came out from the kitchen, and began to relieve Akane of her burden. 'So,' asked Kasumi, 'did you two enjoy your day with your mother?' 'Yes, Auntie Kasumi,' the two children piped. 'Akane, dear, you do too much!' stated Nodoka, as she carried the groceries to the kitchen. 'I don't mind, Saotome-san!' Akane knelt to the ground in front of Ryu. She took out a tissue, wet it, and began to clean his face. Ryu resisted and shuffled. 'Now, stop it, Ryu!' Akane scalded him. 'You don't want to look all scruffy for the big day!' 'Big day?' asked Soun. 'Oh, yes!' Akane said. 'I nearly forgot.' She dug into her purse and pulled out a single post-card, handing it to her father. Soun looked at the picture side, noting with some irony that it showed a panda chewing on a stalk of bamboo. Genma coughed, audibly. Soun turned the card over, and read aloud: 'To the Tendo household, I will be returning shortly from my long expedition into China. I have missed you all, especially you, Akane. (Akane blushed) Ryoga and I have endured much hardship, and have even gone through Mongolia and Tibet. I will return to the dojo sometime on the eighth day of the fifth month of this year. Honourablly yours, Ranma Saotome' Streams of tears began to pour from Soun's eyes. Genma followed in suit. Kasumi smiled and Nodoka beamed proudly. Ryu and Ranko began to run around the room cheering. Akane looked at the door, her thoughts in another world. She thought to herself. 'Oh my!' Kasumi exclaimed. 'The eighth day? That's today!' 'Then we must prepare a feast!' Nodoka announced. 'Quickly, Kasumi, they might return at any moment!' The two chefs returned to the kitchen, and the sounds of dicing and chopping came from the kitchen. Akane sat down at the large dining table. She ran her fingers across its surface, noting a few scruffs. She remembered them from the time she slammed the table down on Ranma's head soon after they met. Akane smiled. Ryu and Ranko ran up to their mother. 'Mommy,' bleated Ranko 'will daddy know me?' 'Or me?' added Ryu. Akane looked at the two children. They were twins, and she looked at their faces. Ryu seemed to have his father's features, but Akane noted that he had a few of her's as well. She looked at Ranko, and saw what looked like at first at spitting image of the tree-borne pig-tailed girl. However, she had the mouth, eyes and nose of Akane. Akane smiled. 'You will not have to worry.' Akane reassured the twins. 'Your father will know you are both his children the moment he lays eyes on you.'   An hour passed in the Tendo household, and it began to rain outside. The torrent was slick and thick, and the ground became wet. The neighbourhood quickly fought against the storm in their own way: homeowners taking in chairs, merchants taking in their stalls, and people closing their windows. The streetlamps began to light in a random pattern as it became dimmer. Two backpack-laden figures, dark and tired, trudged down the street. The rain obscured them from vision, but it was apparent they were tired and working on reserve energy. They were both male and seemed to be the same height. They walked at an even pace, each mimicking the other's steps. The pair eventually closed in on their imminent destination: the Tendo Dojo. They simultaneously exhaled with great relief, and they stepped forwards towards the doors of the compound. The pair reached the inner court of the Tendo manor, and tromped up to the house. They reached the front doors and knocked. The doors immediately swung open, and there, in the doorway stood Akane. '....' she mouthed. '...is it you?' She backed up and let the pair in. All eyes in the Tendo household turned towards the two, rough figures, walking into the living room, led by Akane. At first glance, the pair appeared to be identical. Same hair colour, same height, same general appearance, but the differences were soon to be noted. The first of the two figures was a man in his early twenties with black hair and blue eyes. He wore loose black pants and a red, Chinese-style shirt, both soaking wet. His body seemed strong and supple. His face was obscured by a ill-kept growth of facial hair. His beard was tangled and split. The second of the figures was also a man in her early twenties with black hair, but he had brown eyes, and wore a yellow ochre bandanna, speckled with black streaks. His shirt was also yellow ochre, with sleeves that covered his arms. His pants were black, and also soaking wet. He also had an unkempt beard. 'Ranma and Ryoga have returned!' exclaimed an elated Akane. People laughed and cheered, as they recognized the rugged pair. Genma and Soun slapped the pair heartily on the back, and Kasumi and Nodoka entered the room carrying many vessels filled with food. Ranma stepped over to Akane. 'Akane.' 'Yes, Ranma?' 'I know what you are thinking. And I have the answers you seek: I have not forgotten you, and I love you more than I have ever loved you.' 'Oh, Ranma.' 'My boy is now a man!' exclaimed a proud mother. Nodoka walked up to her son and tweaked at his short, but thick, beard. 'Look at this!' she stated. 'A man he is! And he has found his true path!' 'You're wet!' Akane exclaimed. 'Sorry, I just got in from...' 'No, I mean you haven't changed! Oh, Ranma! Did you find a cure?' 'Thanx to Ryoga here, yes!' 'We found a secluded order of monks in Tibet that specialized in chi magic!' said Ryoga. 'They were able to cure anything, as long as we didn't reveal their location. I had nearly been spread once, and were not going to heal any other outsiders, but took pity on Ranma, because of his unique condition.' 'So here I am!' exclaimed Ranma. 'A complete man, with no fear!' 'Except cats.' Muttered Ryoga. Ranma glared at him. 'Ranma, I have a very special surprise for you!' Akane exclaimed. 'Oh?' 'Ryu! Ranko! Come over here!' 'Ryu? Ranko?!' stuttered Ranma. The twins darted over to their mother, and she presented them. 'Ranma,' Akane said, 'this is Ryu, your son, and Ranko, your daughter. Our children!' Ranma began to lose consciousness. He weaved and turned. 'Our children?' he stuttered, and collapsed to the ground. Soun looked at the unconscious martial artist. 'Haven't I seen this somewhere before?' he asked aloud.   Ranma began to awaken. He was on the floor of the living room in the Tendo household. The family sat around him, waiting for his revival. 'Oh, I thinks he's beginning to get up!' Kasumi stated. 'I hope I am never caught fainting like that!' smirked Ryoga. 'Shut up!' Ranma splurted. 'Does father usually do this, Mommy?' asked Ryu. 'No, usually it's your grandfather.' Soun fumed. Ranma got up to his knees, and inspected his offspring. His eyes darted back and forth: Ryu. Ranko. Ranko. Ryu. Ryu. Ranko. And so on. 'Twins?' Ranma asked aloud. The twins nodded, almost comically. Ranma reached over, and began to hug the two children. 'I've never seen anything more beautiful!' Akane beamed with delight. The twins returned their father's embrace. 'Now, I'm hungry!' exclaimed Ranma. 'Let's eat!' 'Some things never change.' Genma muttered.   Ranma set down his backpack in the corner of Akane's room. The room had changed over the years. The previously teen-set chamber had transformed into a well-decorated bedroom, combining Eastern and Western designs. Ranma noted there was a photo of him on Akane's vanity. Also there were the photos of the twins at various ages, and a family photo taken before Ranma and Ryoga left. 'So how did the twins come?' Ranma asked. 'Remember the promise I had you make me?' Akane counter-asked. 'That was one hell of a promise!' Ranma remembered. 'But, it was just that once! Our first time!' 'It only takes one time, Ranma! But, it was the greatest day of my life. Then the children came. I've missed you, Ranma Saotome!' 'I've missed you, Akane Tendo. Poor kids. Growing up without their father.' 'You're here now! And they have plenty of growing up to do!' 'Do they...' Ranma started to ask. Akane waved her hand, reassuring him. 'No, they don't have the curse. I think that's why we had twins.' Akane sat on the edge of her bed, and patted at it, indicating to Ranma she wished him to sit beside her. He obliged. 'So, give me the low-down!' Ranma said. 'Huh?' 'Who's where and what's going on!' 'Oh!' Akane said. 'Well, Nabiki went to America, likes she's always been planning. I don't think she'll be moving back.' 'Why?' 'The Canon company of America's kind reliant on her. She kinda runs the company division there. Ukyo's still running her okonomiyaki restaurant. I think she's gotten over you. Kunoh's stopped harassing me after he saw the children. I haven't seen him in two years. Kudochi's busy with her career in gymnastics. Likewise to the 'Golden Pair.' Shampoo and Cologne called it quits after seeing the children. Apparently, it canceled out Shampoo's obligations to marry you, and Cologne has some scruples when children are involved. Mousse is still here. He runs a pawn shop. The Principal is still uncontrollable, but since we've graduated, he won't bother us any more. Dr. Tofu is still running his clinic. He's still hopeless around Kasumi, but I think she's figured it out. I guess that almost sums it up.' 'So... we're free!' 'What about Ryoga?' 'We're the best of friends now! After he helped me and got a sense of direction, things became clearer for him! We still fight, but its all for fun!' Akane stared, quizzically at Ranma. 'What?' he asked. 'A mature Ranma. I'm not sure the world is ready for it!' 'OK! You'll pay for that one!' Akane laughed as Ranma leapt for her. They ended up under the covers, and began to remove clothing from one another. After a struggle involving much giggling, they were completely naked. Ranma and Akane began foreplay, touching one another, stroking and gliding their hands across the sensitive parts of the body. Ranma cupped his hands around Akane's breasts. His hands slipped down and his fingers traced around the contours of Akane's tight and muscular abdomen. He traced around her vagina, causing her to shudder. Akane rubbed Ranma's shoulders. Her delicate but strong hands ran down Ranma's strong and full pectoral muscles. She grasped at his thick arms and let her lips meet with his. They kissed long and passionately, letting their tongues intertwine. Akane let her hands move down to Ranma's manhood. She grasped his hard and thick penis and began to stroke it back and forth. She continued to do this for some time. Ranma could not stand it much longer. Sensing his impatience, Akane then laid him onto his back and crawled over him. She kissed him. Ranma let her reposition herself, and he readied himself to enter her. Akane slid Ranma's penis into her vagina, and began to move to allow it to touch her inside. Her inner muscles squeezed onto his member. Ranma grunted in pleasure as he moved his pelvis up and down, causing Akane to gasp and groan. Their passion continued and raised. Their breathing pattern matched. Akane moaned in short spurts with every rise of Ranma's pelvis. He strained to hold back the inevitable. Akane let out a short: 'Yes!' Ranma could hold it no longer. The two orgasmed simultaneously. Both screamed in pleasure and excatsy. The two were exhausted, and slumped beside each other on the bed. Akane and Ranma beamed, panting but satisfied. 'Wow, Akane!' Ranma gasped. 'You've changed!' 'So have you, hentai!' 'Uncute tomboy!' 'Really?' she asked sarcastically. 'No, but it brings back memories talking like that.' The couple gently fell to sleep.   Kasumi completed setting the dining table. The table was full to the brim with various breakfast goods. Steam rose from the various dishes. Soun and Genma were already seated at the table, both full of smiles. 'My son is finally ready to uphold the family tradition.' Genma stated. 'He will lead this dojo into greatness!' exclaimed Soun. Akane and Ranma walked into the living room. Akane was as beautiful as ever. She was wearing a simple blue dress. Ranma was still wearing his Chinese shirt and pants. However, Genma and Soun looked amazed as they noted a stunning change in Ranma's appearance. Under his nose, Ranma had a finely-groomed mustache. The rest of his facial hair had been shaved off, but his mustache was strong and proud, akin to Soun's. Ranma and Akane beamed with happiness. 'Ranma!' Genma splurted. 'Like it?' Ranma asked. 'I thought that as a man of my maturity I should start showing it!' 'It is a fine mustache!' beamed Soun. Then, Ryoga entered the room. He was still clad in his usual garb, but his face was now clean-shaven. 'I have slept the sleep of the dead.' He stated. 'Everything is clearer now! I can no longer harbour any anger!' 'You mean you have forgiven Ranma?' Akane asked. 'We were young back then.' Ryoga assured her. 'We are now adults. Ranma has saved my life in our journeys, and I have saved his.' Ranma smiled. Suddenly, the twins came running in, laughing in joy. They sat at the table, and waited for everyone to sit. 'Come on!' Ranko said. 'I'm hungry!' 'Have patience, Darling.' Akane reassured her. 'We'll eat soon.' And so everyone sat at the table. After the prayers had been said, the family dug into the meal.   The small group walked across the bridge. Ranma and Akane walked, hand in hand, gazing into one another's eyes. Ryoga carried Ranko on his back, as Ryu ran around him. Ryoga was smiling, happy that his two compatriots had found happiness. Ryoga's outlook had become clearer and clearer. 'So where do you two want to go for lunch?' Ranma asked of his offspring. 'Ucchan's!' the two piped, simultaneously. 'Must run in the family.' Laughed Ryoga. 'Whatdya mean?' Ranma asked. 'A weakness for okonomiyaki!' Akane looked down, a worried expression on her face. Ranma turned and noticed her concern. 'What's the matter, Akane?' 'Oh, nothing, nothing!' she assured him, although her inner thought remained:   Ucchan's had not changed in years. The same sign flapped in the wind. The smell waffed into the nasal passages of Ranma and Ryoga, bringing back many memories. The group went through the open door of the okonomiyaki house. The inside had not changed as well. The same statues of spirits lined the walls of the house. The grill was slightly more used, showing signs of scouring, but it still produced the greatest Japanese pancakes in Nerima. Ukyo was behind the grill, using her characteristic spatulas to flip over the okonomiyaki. Ukyo's face brightened up when she saw Ryu, Ranko and Akane. 'Akane and the twins!' she called out. 'How are you today. Come in and...' She stopped, as she saw the two companions: Ranma and Ryoga. Her face turned into a slate of anger. Her eyes glazed at them. Her ki began to flame around her. 'YOU!!!!' she yelled in a booming voice. Ranma and Ryoga looked shocked, and were unable to react. Ukyo tromped towards the pair. 'Uh, hi Ucchan!' Ranma managed to get out. Ukyo turned around, and her face softened. 'Taro, will you come down here please?' she intoned, musically. 'Coming, Mommy!' trilled a small voice. Ranma and Ryoga relaxed for a moment letting out a sigh. Ukyo snapped around, giving them another hideous stare. They stiffened up again. A young child, no older than either Ryu or Ranko, bounded down the stairs leading to the upper apartment. The child was a young boy with black hair. His face was cute and honest-looking. He wore a T-shirt and shorts with the logo: 'Ucchan's Okonomiyaki.' 'What is it, Mommy?' Taro asked as he skipped up to Ukyo. 'Taro, your father has come back.' She stated. The young boy turned to the pair with wide eyes. Ryoga began to laugh. 'Ha! Another mess you've gotten yourself into, Ranma!' Ryoga said. Taro opened his mouth wide: 'Daddy!' he exclaimed, revealing his whole mouth. Most noticeable was the over-developed canine teeth. Ryoga stared at the boy with bug-eyes. His head snapped back as his nose splurted a short stream of blood. He collapsed backwards, onto the ground.   When Ryoga came to, he found himself on the floor of the okonomiyaki shop. Ukyo had temporary closed it for the afternoon so she could deal with the crisis at hand. Akane and Ranma looked concerned at Ryoga's prone form. Ryu and Ranko were over in one corner playing a board game with Taro. Ryoga took in the scene as quickly as he could, but his vision was soon obscured by the angry, teeth-gnashing face of Ukyo. 'RYOGA BAKA HENTAI!' she screamed into his face. 'It's like I'm having an out-of-body experience.' Ranma muttered to Akane through the corner of his mouth. 'You and me both!' whispered Akane. 'YOU'VE RUINED MY LIFE!' Ukyo further screamed. 'I've heard that before as well!' muttered Ranma. 'I... I...' stuttered Ryoga. 'SHUT UP! NOTHING YOU CAN SAY WILL CHANGE THINGS!' 'Just a second, Ukyo.' Interrupted Ranma. 'How did this all happen?' Ukyo relaxed for a second, closing her eyes, and praying to the spirits for control. She began on her tale...   Ryoga Hibiki trudged over the road unsteadily. It was dark, but the streetlamps provided ample light. After the celebration with Genma, Soun and Ranma, he was full of sake. He hiccuped and swayed back and forth. His vision was blurred. The only beneficial result was that he was not lost. He was moving in the exact direction he wanted to. He was going to go with Ranma on a great journey: one that would find him a cure for his curse. Ryoga had a few things to do that he always intended to do. Now, with no control barriers left, the alcohol in his system freed him and let him proceed with his inner desires. Ryoga could not make out the letters on the flapping sign, but he knew from the smells that he was in front of Ucchan's. He saw the blurred lights of the shop, and could see it was empty but for Ukyo herself. Ryoga trudged into the okonomiyaki house. 'Oh, Ryoga.' Ukyo said. 'Nice to see you. What brings you here at this hour?' Ryoga smiled. He trundled over to a seat and sat down. 'I jus wanted to tell you I'm goin' away!' he said, unsteadily. 'Yes, I heard.' 'And I may be gone fur a long time!' Ryoga's words were slurred. 'And I'm sure I'll miss you and Ran-chan!' 'Heh. Guess yu don't understand wut I'm saying!' Ryoga stood up, and waited for his balance. He rounded the grill, and walked up to Ukyo. 'I think yur great!' 'Thanks, Ryoga.' Ukyo was becoming uncomfortable. 'Yu know, I always wanted to date Akane and you wur really nice all the time!' 'I tried my best, Ryoga.' 'Yes. And I'm greatful. Oh, Ukyo! I love you!' 'Ryoga-san?' 'I love you. And I want you to know it!' 'Ryoga?' 'Come on! Show me that you love me too!' Ukyo blushed. Her inner desires and thoughts were suddenly thrown aback as she dealt with this new situation. Ukyo had never considered her relationship with Ryoga this deeply. 'I... I love you too, Ryoga.' 'No! I mean: show me!' 'Ryoga?' Ukyo sounded shocked. Ryoga grasped her, hugged her, and began to kiss her passionately. 'Oh, Ryoga!' Ukyo was dumbfounded. 'Hah-hah-hah-hah! Let us celebrate our love!' Ryoga cried out. He carried her in his arms, and raced up to her apartment. 'Oh, Ryoga!'   Ukyo finished her tale. She was fuming. 'And the rest you can guess!' she exclaimed. Ranma and Akane looked at Ryoga with sour expressions. 'I don't remember any of it!' Ryoga expressed his innocence. 'I was drunk! I...' 'YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE!' Ukyo took to shouting in Ryoga's face once again. 'I am sorry!' 'So,' Akane explained, 'Ukyo had Taro about the same time the twins were born. This was what I was dreading.' 'Well, Ryoga,' started Ranma, 'how'ya gonna get out of this one?' 'I will tell you how things are going to go!' stated Ukyo in a no-nonsense tone. 'You, Ryoga, will marry me and raise our son in the most honourable way you can, without the influence of alcohol.' 'Yes, Ukyo.' Ryoga complied. 'You will refer to me as "My love!"' 'Yes, my love!'   Kasumi was starting supper. She was dicing leeks up. She hummed a pleasant tune as her knife darted up and down. She heard the front door open, and could hear the voices of her father and Genma. 'Huh!' grunted Genma. 'Foolish beginners! The load of them!' 'Genma-san.' Soun retorted. 'You must have patience. Not everyone can learn martial arts like your son or even you and I did.' Genma shuddered at the thought of Happosai, the perverted ancient master. 'Soon, though, Ranma will be ready to lead this dojo into excellence!' Soun exclaimed. 'Yes!' cried out Genma. 'With him as the master, no school will compare to the Saotome-Tendo school of anything-goes, indiscriminate grappling martial arts.' 'I never understood why you just don't call it Jujitsu!' Nodoka butted into the conversation. 'It's much more than Jujitsu!' Genma replied. 'We're home!' called out Akane. The group, plus Ukyo and Taro, entered the Tendo household. Ryu and Taro were being chased by Ranko in a game of tag they had been playing. Akane and Ranma were still holding hands. Ukyo was grasping hold of Ryoga's shoulder, as if he was on a lead. Ryoga had his head hung low, facing the ground. 'Oh, Ukyo!' Kasumi gleefully chirped. 'You've come to visit, and brought Taro with you!' Ukyo beamed proudly. 'Yes, Kasumi.' She said. 'It is good to see you again. Taro, manners!' Taro stopped in his tracks, and bowed. 'I am glad to be accepted in your house.' He piped. Genma smiled, and rubbed the boy on his head. 'Good lad.' Genma said. He turned to Taro's father. 'So, Ryoga, you know what honour dictates you do!' 'Yes sir.' Ryoga weakly stated. 'My love has already dictated my lot.' Ranma walked up to Ryoga, and quietly talked with him: 'So, Ryoga, how'dya feel now?' Ryoga looked up with deep eyes, looking into the future. A small smile grew on his face. 'I am happier than I have ever been before!' he cried aloud, as tears of joy streaked from his eyes. All in the room were surprised by Ryoga's sudden change in emotion. 'Ukyo!' Ryoga cried out as he hugged her. 'We will be together forever. My life has never been clearer! I am unworthy of all the honour and joy I have been bestowed.' 'Ryoga!' giggled Ukyo. Ryoga zipped over in front of Soun and knelt, head down. 'Tendo-san.' Ryoga intoned. 'Please allow me to be a disciple of your school, that I might be a man my fiancee can be proud of.' 'Ryoga!' Soun was shocked. 'You... I would be honoured to have you as a member. Ranma, what do you say, as future heir to the school of anything-goes martial arts?' 'Hey, no problem!' Ranma laughed, slapping Ryoga on the back. 'I figured, even with you, Pop and Akane, we'll need another sensei. Ryoga, I would be honoured to have you as a member of the school. You're the best martial artist I know. Other than me, of course.' 'Let's not be too humble.' Akane retorted. She smiled. 'Taro,' Ryoga began on another speech, 'please forgive your father for being absent. I ask you to accept me as your father.' 'Daddy!' Taro bleated, hugging his father. Ukyo knelt down and joined the hug. 'It's nice how everything works out nicely in the end!' Kasumi piped. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ End of Chapter I
