Having made his changes Ranma leaned back and closed his eyes as the new memories flooded over him. In this new reality Akane’s maternal grandfather had escaped capture by the Soviets when they smashed the Manchurian army at the end of world war 2. In the course of his round about evasion through China he had defeated an amazon so when he finally got back to Japan it was with his Chinese wife.
