It was gym class, and Akane's two highschool friends, Yuka and Sayuri, are about to discover the first signs of being on the vanguard of Nerima's Boob Boom.
"Ack! My sports bra doesn't fit!" Sayuri yelped, a bit too loud, she realized a second later.
"Oooooh! Did I hear you say your sports bra doesn't fit?" Yuka said teasingly. "Was your regular bra kinda tight too? Here, lemme feel!" With that, Yuka slipped behind Sayuri and cupped her friend's breasts, squeezing and feeling the two mounds of flesh.
"KYAAAHHH!!!" Sayuri screeched in indignation.
"Hmmm, they do seem a little bigger," Yuka said thoughtfully. "So that's why you were pigging out at lunch. You've just got your second wind!"
Sayuri elbowed her friend. "You were pigging out, too!" Sayuri huffed, crossing her arms over her chest. During lunch, she and Yuka had each bought a pile of snacks and lunch items from the cafeteria to supplement their usual bentos, and had devoured the whole mess at a rate that would've made Ranma take notes.
Sayuri stared at her unclad chest. "So what am I going to do about them?" she asked in asperation, "I'm not wearing an ill-fitting sports bra to gym; they ain't comfy. And I'm not going out there braless with all those perverts milling about in the boy's class, watching my boobs bounce all over the place."
"You're starting to sound like Akane."
Sayuri glared Yuka down. "Don't go there! Besides, with no bra, they're going to be mighty sore after bouncing around."
"You got a soft bra, don't you?" Yuka asked. Sayuri nodded. "Then that'll have to do until you get a new sports bra."
Sayuri sighed and pulled on the soft bra. The elastic material allowed the front to stretch out in front to hug and support her breasts as best they could. "Better, but I'm still going to be jiggling quite a bit," she sighed.
"Well, just mayyyybe Hiroshi-kun will finally notice you!" Yuka pointed out with a wicked grin.
"Oh, stop!" Sayuri giggled, elbowing her playfully this time.
"Heh! It never hurts to adver... tise..." Yuka trailed off as she pulled the two straps of her own sports bra together. She tugged at the two ends, but each attempt to bring them close enough to hook together was met by a tight squeezing sensation. After several attempts, Yuka slipped the bra off and glared at it as if it was the garment's fault. "That's funny... mine doesn't fit either... KYAAHHH!!!" Yuka squealed as Sayuri slipped in behind Yuka and cupped her breasts, feeling them up like she had done with Sayuri.
"Looks like you got your second wind too, Yuka-chan!" Sayuri purred. "You planning to attract Daisuke-kun's attention with these?"
"Oh, you!"
"Alright, girls! Enough pseudo-lesbian shenannigans for one day," the gym teacher childed. The two girls blushed in embarassment as the other girls laughed goodnaturedly.
Yuka had her own soft bra, so she didn't have to play softball braless either. However, the lack of a proper sports bra was noticed by boys doing the high-bar. They noticed the subtle jiggle of inadequately-restrained breastflesh as the girls played softball.
All the while, the breasts of every woman in Nerima were quietly, slowly growing...
