Joy's jaw hung open. Professor Mahogany would clear the whole thing up with her later after Ryouga left the pokecenter, but for now she was somewhere between horror and bafflement. Ryouga was eager to change the subject. "So, Professor, have you heard from Ash?"

"Ah, yes in fact." Professor Mahogany said. "He sent me a message just this morning asking if I knew where you were and why you hadn't answered his E-mail yet."

Ryouga's eyebrow lifted. "Ash sent me an E-mail? The only message waiting for me here was yours Professor."
